Nestum Cereal Prawns by Yvonne Mah


1. Slit back and remove veins from tiger prawns. Leave head, tail & shell on (optional).
2. Clean and pat dry. Marinate with dash of salt for 30 mins.
3. Deep-fry the prawns in hot oil until golden brown. Dish and drain. (I pan-fry cos dont like too much oil in our diet & I'm really lousy at deep-frying.)
4. Melt 2 tbsp of salted butter in a pan with some olive oil. Saute curry leaves and chilli padi until fragrant.
5. Add in cereal & some sugar and stir fry until aromatic. (Cereal is already crispy so don't need to stir-fry too long.)
6. Add in prawns and mix well.
7. Dish up and enjoy!
