Ingredients
Pork belly (cut into strips) I replaced with sweet sour pork meat because no pork belly at home
10 shallot (cut small)
10 garlic (cut small)
1 tbsp bean paste
1tbsp brown sugar
3 mushroom (soaked in water)
2 potatoes (cut into pieces)
2 slices sengkuang
3 glasses water
Seasoning
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
Pinch of salt (to taste)
Method
1. Sauté shallot and garlic until it turn golden brown and fragrant. Add bean paste to stir for 2-3 mins.
2. Add in pork belly and toss for 5 mins. Add in mushroom, potatoes, sengkuang to toss for another 3 mins. Don't throw away the mushroom water, pour in the soak mushrooms water. Add brown sugar, stir until dissolved. Add in water, simmer until it cook. Lastly, add seasoning.
3. Serve
