Fried Tom Yam Bee Hoon by Christine Tan‎


  1. Heat wok
  2. Add 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  3. Fry chopped garlic and lemongrass together (1 stalk lemongrass chopped *pic attached*) till fragrance
  4. Add 1-2 scoop of Tom Yum Paste
  5. (Im using the paste which was bought from BKK. U can buy Hollyfarm brand Tom Yum paste.fyi)
  6. Add 2 scoops of sambal belachan chilli (optional) & 1 teaspoon pepper
  7. Pour 1 cup water into wok and mix well
  8. Add beehoon for 2 pax share (im using WAIWAI brand 棉棉的 ho jiak lah) soak beehoon for 30mins before u cook.
  9. Add in vegetable balls and crabsticks or etc. If u like fishcake or fishball..just add.
  10. Mix well and fry for about 6mins..
  11. Add big prawns (place it at the bottom of the wok..let the beehoon cover the prawns so it will cook faster)
  12. Mix well gently and lastly..throw in bunch of spring onion (mine is homegrown).
  13. Off fire and serve hot
