Fried Tom Yam Bee Hoon by Christine Tan
- Heat wok
- Add 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- Fry chopped garlic and lemongrass together (1 stalk lemongrass chopped *pic attached*) till fragrance
- Add 1-2 scoop of Tom Yum Paste
- (Im using the paste which was bought from BKK. U can buy Hollyfarm brand Tom Yum paste.fyi)
- Add 2 scoops of sambal belachan chilli (optional) & 1 teaspoon pepper
- Pour 1 cup water into wok and mix well
- Add beehoon for 2 pax share (im using WAIWAI brand 棉棉的 ho jiak lah) soak beehoon for 30mins before u cook.
- Add in vegetable balls and crabsticks or etc. If u like fishcake or fishball..just add.
- Mix well and fry for about 6mins..
- Add big prawns (place it at the bottom of the wok..let the beehoon cover the prawns so it will cook faster)
- Mix well gently and lastly..throw in bunch of spring onion (mine is homegrown).
- Off fire and serve hot
