Ps : this is damn addictive . I finish 2 onion all by myself. Crunchy to max.
2 medium size Onion
2 cups Buttermilk (if there ain't buttermilk in your pantry, mix two Cup of milk with 4 tbsp of white vinegar, leave it for about 5 minutes)
2 cups All-purpose Flour
1 Tablespoon Salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp mixed herbs
Canola Oil
Black Pepper
Truffle salt/pink salt to taste .
Slice onion very thin.
Place in a baking dish and cover with buttermilk and soak for at least an hour.
Combine dry ingredients and set aside.
Heat oil.
Grab a handful of onions, throw into the flour mixture, tap to shake off excess, and PLUNGE into hot oil.
Fry for a few minutes and remove as soon as golden brown.
Sprinkle some truffle salt or pink salt to taste.
