Black Chicken Soup by Joyce Ng



A bunch of ming mu yu
2 black chicken, skinned & halved, blanched in water

Herbs (Estimates)
10 Red dates
A small handful wolfberries
* A small handful huai shan
* A small handful wild yu zu
* 4 pcs bei qi
* 2 stalks dang shen
* some american ginseng
* just for additional info, I put these into a soup pack

Assemble all in a pot, add sufficient water to cover the ingredients. Bring to boil & simmer for at least 1 hour.

As I've used a slow cooker. I set it to low setting for abt 3 hrs after it is brought to a boil.
